AD2 was founded in 2007 by Dr. Robert Williams, a leading orthodontist known globally for teaching goal-directed orthodontics along with Dr. Ron Roth.

He found that many doctors were unable to implement these treatment techniques due to the cost of the articulators and related equipment. Thus, the idea for AD2 was born to give doctors an affordable solution for providing the best patient care possible.

Dave Williams, President

Dave joined AD2 in 2010 with the goal of expanding the company’s global presence as well as its product line.  Prior to AD2, he was Manager of Affiliate Operations for Google, Inc., having arrived at Google thru the acquisition of dMarc Broadcasting, where he managed Affiliate Operations.  Previous to these roles, Dave was a founder of VitalStream, Inc., which was acquired by Internap Corp. in 2006.

Dave holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Anyela Calhoun, Director of Production and QA

Anyela started at AD2 in 2011 and manages all QA and Production Operations.  She brought a wealth of experience to us, having previously served as the Quality Assurance Manager at Panadent Corporation for 13 years.

Quinto Maldonado, Director of Manufacturing and QC

Quinto is our newest employee, having joined AD2 in 2020 to manage our manufacturing and QC processes.  He brings a huge amount of experience to the company, most recently serving as Panadent’s Manufacturing Manager for almost 30 years.

Claudia Carriedo, Assembly Manager

Claudia joined us in 2013 as part of our Assembly team and has become an exceptional team member. With her 7+ years of experience, she ensures that all AD2 products meet the highest quality standards for function and finish.
